Information and Communication Systems Engineering

Information and Communication Systems Engineering

With the spread of smartphones, the social infrastructure of communication technology has become more and more important. The Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering strives to train engineers with the array of skills needed to support the next-generation communication technology. An extensive range of topics will be covered, ranging from hardware, such as antennas and electronic circuits, to software, including programming of communication protocols and communication network construction. Students will also wrestle with cutting-edge issues in the field, such as methods for using wireless frequency bands that have never been used before, or how communication circuitry can learn from vital functions. When new technologies appear in the field of communications, our lives evolve even more. We are trying to train professionals who will bring about the next evolution in communications.
