Admissions Policy of Graduate School of Engineering Master’s Program

The Master’s Program warmly welcomes applicants who understand the published policies of our graduate school and who have a desire to work as a high-level engineer or researcher in the future. For this program, we seek those who possess a sufficient grounding in engineering supported by a liberal education and who wish to further pursue extensive learning and specialist knowledge. We also seek those who are capable of playing an active role in the international community and who want to face the challenges of creative “Monozukuri” manufacturing. Applicants should have a professional ethical outlook and a desire to contribute to society.

The Doctoral Program (Fall Enrollment) warmly welcomes applicants who understand the published policies of our graduate school and who have a strong desire to play a leading role in various fields related to engineering while promoting both basic and pioneering scientific research. For this program, we seek those who possess a broad perspective and a high level of specialist knowledge and who wish to cultivate their critical thinking skills in addressing complex social problems. We also seek those who aim to acquire the ability to come up with versatile solutions by refining their research methods and who want to expand their own possibilities through research and development.

Master’s Program

In the master's course, we seek students who understand the policies of our Graduate School and are willing to motivate themselves to become advanced experts and researchers in the future. In this course, we desire those who are able to acquire sufficient knowledge of engineering, to explore a wide range of learning and specialized fields, to acquire a nurturing ability to play an active role in international society, to have creative "manufacturing" mind and to acquire an engineering ethics, and are motivated to contribute to the future society.

Doctoral Program (Fall Enrollment)

In the Doctoral Program, we seek applicants who understand the policies of our Graduate School and have a strong desire and ability to achieve those goals. We desire applicants who possess knowledge and abilities at a master’s degree level, who have a desire to actively improve their English communication skills, who want to become professionals engaged in high-level tasks by acquiring cutting-edge knowledge and profound scholarship in information science, who want to promote pioneering scientific research, and who want to play a leading role in various fields related to information science.

Admissions Policy of Graduate School of Social Systems Science Master’s Program and Doctoral Program in Management Science

Master’s Program

The Master’s Program is looking for applicants who understand the published policies of our graduate school, who have acquired general and specialist knowledge at a bachelor’s degree level, and who have a desire to wrestle on their own with problems related to social systems and management, while deepening their knowledge of social systems science, a field which has become increasingly complex and diverse. In addition, we desire applicants who have a highly developed professional ethical outlook and who try to make an actual contribution to society by utilizing the knowledge and abilities they have acquired.

Doctoral Program (Fall Enrollment)

The Doctoral Program (Fall Enrollment) is looking for applicants who understand the published policies of our graduate school, who want to deepen the specialist knowledge and research abilities they cultivated in the master’s program, and who have a strong desire to contribute to society as a researcher by carrying out creative research that could add new perspectives and ways of understanding, or by conducting practical research based on extensive and comprehensive analyses.
