Management Information Science

With advances in globalization and information technology (IT), modern society has become increasingly complicated. As a result, there’s been a rapid increase in the need for management system specialists who can view the entire world and comprehensively evaluate the situation. Such specialists require the following three abilities: a basic understanding of management, management-related IT skills, and scientific thinking that can fully utilize management engineering. The Department of Management Information Science has drawn up a curriculum that helps students acquire these skills in a systematic and comprehensive manner. Students will learn about management from a scientific viewpoint while also acquiring IT skills. In addition, students will have experiences in learning how to practically apply their skills through industrial internship. Thus we aim to produce the professionals needed on the front lines of business.
