Training technicians knowledgeable in software and hardware and who can design and develop software on their own
Computer science has resulted in the development and widespread use of IC cards, such as Suica; smartphones, such as iPhone; and smartphone applications, such as LINE. For this reason, many business fields seek computer science professionals who understand both software and hardware. In the Department of Computer Science, we teach students about the most advanced software and hardware technologies, with the aim of training professionals who can design and develop software on their own. Our graduates are active in a variety of fields, ranging from developing computer systems in information-related companies to working in general businesses dealing with network design.
