Support Association

Alumni Association

Established in 1947, the CIT alumni association has its head office at the CIT campus and a national network of 60 branches, with graduate students as regular members, students as associate members, and the faculty as supporting members. With the goal of promoting friendship and exchanges of knowledge among members and contributing to the growth of CIT, the association issues quarterly newsletters and provides support for holding class reunions, various university events, students' club activities, and job hunting. The local branches are especially useful for helping students to find employment in their hometowns.

Parents and Professors Association (PPA)

Established in 1949, the PPA is designed to use the collaboration of parents and professors to help increase the level of education and research at the Chiba Institute of Technology, to promote friendship and cultural enrichment among members, and to enhance the welfare of professors, graduate students and undergraduate students.
The collaboration between parents and professors best characterizes the PPA, and its activities are actually financed by the full membership fees paid not only by parents but also by professors. Parents and professors meet every year at more than 50 local offices nationwide to exchange information, thus building a strong network to help students continue their research under ideal conditions.

Association of Technology and Information Promotion

In commemoration of CIT's 50th anniversary, the association was established in 1994 to promote exchanges of educational, academic, technological, and employment information between CIT and industrial and public communities, thus enhancing mutual understanding and further contributing to industries and regional communities, as well as to encourage our own growth. The association's activities range from promoting exchanges of information among members to contributing in various ways to projects in regional communities.
