The Graduate School of Social Systems Science offers education and research opportunities in a management-related engineering methodology for a wide variety of systems covering everything from corporate management to economics. The school’s master’s program is designed to produce highly professional engineers and researchers with an advanced level of management abilities to cope with systems that are increasingly complicated and diversified. The doctoral program is designed to produce researchers who have highly professional expertise in management and social systems and can build a new system of knowledge in the areas in which they specialize.

This graduate school supplies students with advanced, broad-ranging education and research opportunities in management-related engineering methodology and theories such as business management, environmental management, and risk management, with regard to a variety of systems covering everything from corporate management to economics, thus achieving a sustainable society rather than one based on mass-production and mass-consumption.
The Master’s Program endeavors to produce practical engineers and researchers who can cope with various problems related to complicated and diversified social systems, whereas the Doctoral Program produces true specialists who undertake advanced research regarding technological and social systems based on the Master’s Program.
