Undergraduate
School
The Computer Science department aims to produce information-processing specialists with extensive computer knowledge in both software and hardware. To this end, the course offers basic knowledge of information mathematics, electronics, and computer software and hardware. The department also puts emphasis on applied computer technologies by covering knowledge engineering - artificial intelligence and pattern recognition - information system engineering for networks and data processing, image engineering, and robotics. This is an approach rarely found at other universities.
Graduate School
Computer Science
The doctoral course offers four areas of research: knowledge engineering,
information system engineering, network engineering and media information
science. The course not only offers theoretical knowledge of systems,
computer architecture, and software, it also addresses practical
application of such theories through acoustic information processing,
image processing, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
